The Anglo-Albanian Association and The Embassy of the Republic of Albania
You are invited to an evening devoted to the Marubi National Museum of Photography to be held at the Embassy of the Republic of Albania (33 St George's Drive, London SW1V 4DG) on 13th June 2024 from 6 – 9pm.
Illustrated talks will be given by Aida Haziri and Mirela Xhaferraj, followed by a drinks reception and the opportunity to view an exhibition of photographs from the Marubi Collection.
Aida Haziri, Language Trainer and Lead Teacher of FCDO students, will talk about the Marubi family, the Museum, and its collections. Mirela Xhaferraj, Albanian Language Tutor at UCL SSEES, will talk about the cultural history of Shkodra in general and linked with the Marubi Museum.
Desantila Qerimaj will give a short presentation about the traditional music of Shkodra city, and she and Enrien Lamcellari will play some traditional Shkodran music.

The exhibition at the Embassy will also be open to the public on 17th and 18th June, from 4 to 8pm on both days.
