About the Event

Dear Anglo-Albanian Association member, friends,

The Anglo-Albanian Association (AAA) is pleased to announce the resumption of our events programme with a talk on "The Legacy of Post-industrialism in Albania" on Wednesday 8 February 2023 at 6pm.  Our speaker is Dr Dimitra Gkitsa, the Alexander Nash Research Fellow at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies.  This is a face-to-face event, organised by the AAA in collaboration with the LSE: it will be held at the LSE Centre Building (Room CBG.1.07), and will be chaired by Dr  Vassillis Monastiriotis, Director of the LSE's South Eastern Europe Research Centre (LSEE) and Associate Professor in Political Economy at the LSE's European Institute.

This event is free of charge and open to all, with no tickets or registration.  We would however like to hear from you if you wish to attend.  AAA members are reminded that they should consider renewing their membership of the AAA  if necessary.  We would also like to encourage non-members to join online at https://www.anglo-albanian.org.uk/become-a-member-1.  Any enquiries about membership should be directed to our Membership Secretary, Carolyn Perry at carolynpperry@hotmail.com.

I am glad to be in touch with you again in this New Year, inviting you to this exceptional event.   More events will be announced soon.

Every good wish,

Stephen
